The Link newsletter is published bi-annually by First Presbyterian Church with the purpose of informing and inspiring its members and friends of the works and vision of the church. It is intended to be easily read by its diverse congregation with the hope that it keeps its active members involved as well as to compel others to become part of the life of the church.

Deadlines: Schedule for 2008

Guidelines:

1. Only items submitted by the deadline will be considered for the upcoming issue.
2. Articles must be submitted in one of the following formats:
   • as an email;
   • an email Word attachment;
   • on a 3 1/2 inch IBM compatible disk.

   If you do not have the ability to submit your article via the above options, you may submit your article in typewritten hard copy form. Handwritten articles will not be accepted.

3. Only articles that are timely and relevant to activities at First Presbyterian Church will be considered. All articles are subject to the approval of the First Presbyterian Church staff and will be edited for length and suitability.
4. Actual placement is at the discretion of the editor.

• Include why, what, when, where and how.
• Be clear and to the point.
• Have someone else read it and ask if they understand it.
• When in doubt, call the editor.
