MANDATE “Living the Adventure” ~ The risks and rewards of radical discipleship. Saturday 17 November at the Odyssey Arena, Belfast.
With special guest: Erwin McManus. Erwin is husband to Kim, father of Aaron, Mariah & Patty, writer of An Unstoppable Force, The Barbarian Way and many other books, futurist, activist, artist and spiritual and cultural leader. He serves as the lead pastor and Cultural Architect of Mosaic in Los Angeles, whose primary focus is to serve the post-modern, post-Western, and post- Christian worlds. They engage with such issues as culture, creativity, change and leadership, Erwin is widely known as a thought provoking communicator.
Worship: Robin Mark. Robin is no stranger to The Mandate or the stage of the Odyssey Arena. He has led worship at The Mandate many times. Robin combines the role of businessman, with this position as Director of Worship at Christian Fellowship Church, Lecturer in Acoustics in Belfast's Queens University, and worship leader and songwriter of international standing. He has led worship in his local church in Belfast for over 20 years. With the help and support of his church leadership, members and the many talented musicians in the body, he has matured not only as a worship leader but also as a truly gifted songwriter.
Back by popular demand: Drama Team. The Madate welcomes back Ian Logan, Gary Morrow, Stephen Allen and Gary Mehaffy. Ian's writing career began with youth for Christ, doing summer outreach. Over the past ten years he has written and produced several full-length comedies in Belfast theatres. The team are currently putting together a programme of the best sketches from previous years and will be available for booking at churches around the country from Easter of this year.
