Bible Study Groups

Our small group Bible studies meet midweek on the first, third and fifth weeks of the month at 8pm. In a relaxed environment, we gather together around the Bible to encourage and help one another understand and live out God’s Word.

For over a year we’ve been trying to tailor the small group material to tie in with what we’re looking at on Sundays. At the moment we're studying Paul's first letter to the Corinthians.

Every evening there’s also opportunity for prayer (although you’ll never be put under pressure to pray out loud). We pray in response to the issues that we’ve heard in God’s Word; for our church and its mission partners; and, of course, for the particular needs of the group.

The Bible study groups meet in the following locations:

Tuesdays:

James & Janice Hyndman’s home
Led by James Hyndman and Martyn Cowan

Wednesdays:

Minor Hall                                                                Led by Norman Jackson and Ivor Taylor

Various homes                                                               Led by Maureen Scott and Edith Wilson

Norman & Sharon McMordie’s home
Led by James Cunningham and Martyn Cowan

Desmond & Irene Connolly’s home
Led by Joel Meeke and Tom McBriar

Richard & Doris Dugan’s home
Led by Roy & Lorraine Fleming

Groups are always delighted to welcome new faces, even if you only want to come and sample an evening to find out if Bible study groups are for you. Any of the leaders or hosts would be delighted to give you more information.
