Resource Centre

The resource centre is going through a period of transition. However, If you call into the church office we can still give you access to a selection of books on a variety of subjects e.g. Christian growth, suffering, guidance and parenting. Many of the titles are reduced by at least 20%. There are lots of books for children and also some crafts. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, we’ll order it in.

Is it time to get back to regular Bible reading?

We want to offer you the best possible resources to help with regular Bible reading. At present, we want to profile several important new Bible reading resources alongside our usual selection of Bible notes. The first is an integrated package for families with primary school-aged children and the other is an interactive guide for adults.

Table talk – Bible discovery for families Three months of daily Bible times for families, perhaps at breakfast or after an evening meal. Each short session lasts about five minutes and it is suitable for children aged from 4 upwards. Table Talk will help a family cover all of the main books, themes and characters of the Bible in 3 years. £12 per year

The ideal partner for Table Talk is XTB (it stands for eXplore The Bible). XTB is based on the same Bible passages as Table Talk and allows older children (7-10s) to explore the family Bible reading for themselves through colourful puzzles, pictures, prayers and teaching points. £16 per year

The Daily Reading Bible has everything you need to get back into regular Bible reading. In one take-anywhere-booklet there are 60 undated readings which include: the full Bible passage; some questions to get you thinking; space to jot down ideas; points to ponder; and some ideas to get you started in prayer. £16 per year
